MUSIC
      from our Director of      Music...

I recently happened upon this anonymous quote:
"Words make you think a thought.
Music makes you feel a feeling.
A song makes you feel a thought."
I think it's one reason our hymns and spiritual songs are so powerful.

As we begin a new program year,

Invite your children's friends to join our choirs if they do not have a church connection.

It's a Christian Education opportunity and your invitation is friendship evangelism at its best.

Encourage the fine singers you hear around you in worship to consider singing in our choirs.

You can be an important "talent scout" for our church family.

Consider making a commitment to our music ministry yourself,

- as a singer

- as a helper or accompanist

- as an encourager

- as a recruiter

Our Choirs

- are natural entry points for new members who want to share their love of music

- are established small group ministries where new members can easily get acquainted

- are settings where spiritual nurture takes place

May God continue to bless our work together! -CRS
