PASTOR'S SESSION HIGHLIGHTS!! (from
June 4
Session meeting) * All elders were present, including elder-elect, Christ Yost, who will be chairing the Fellowship Committee following Lois Forsythe's move to chair the Christian Education Committee. * Approved up to $1000 to be used from the Good Neighbor Fund to support our joint mission trip to West Virginia with the Bakersville Presbyterian Church. * Evangelism Committee is developing a mentoring program to pair up members with our brand new members to help them become acclimated to our church family. * Jasper Tso from the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Chinle, Arizona, will be visiting us the weekend of July 13-15 when we will have worship on the Court Square. * Personnel Committee has completed the update on the job description for the Director of Christian Education. * Strategy Committee proposed changes in how our budget is organized. * Approved transferring money from the English Bequest into the Stewart Fund to be used for further support of our church budget. * Appreciation was expressed for the number of people who filled out volunteer forms.
