Session

The Session is the ruling board for the local church.  It makes the decisions in regard to several areas.  There are eight committees that are led by Session members.  They are: Christian Education, Evangelism, Fellowship, Mission, Nominating, Personnel, Strategy, and Worship.

Board of Trustees

The Trustees are in charge of our church building and finances.  Decisions regarding maintenance, repair, renovation, remodeling and grounds keeping are the focus of their work.  This group handles investments and our Abiding Memorial Fund donated by members and friends over the years.  They oversee use of the church building by 21 community groups!  Last year’s project was the repair of our Fourth St. steps.

The Deacons of the church are in charge of the church’s outreach program.  Throughout the year the Deacons coordinate many projects to help our community.  Some of these include buying school clothes and supplies for children, outfitting the needy with winter coats, hats and gloves and helping to fill the shelves at the Salvation Army Community Food Pantry.
